Hello!

My name is Maria Mars, and I’m a digital illustrator specializing in illustrating children’s books and creating funny and expressive characters for young readers' books, including picture books, chapter books, and books for middle and young adults.

I graduated in Fine Arts where I focused on Illustration, Photography, and Visual Language. Then I continued my education by doing my Master's degree in Animation and Graphic Design.

For me, illustration is the magical power of giving shape and color to stories. It creates universes full of possibilities and interpretations, capable of transforming reality and enhancing the imagination — a magical element that transports you to other worlds.
